On January 21, 1997, Jordan and the Bulls met their old rival the New York Knicks... This game is known as "Van Gundy 'Con' Game" as few days before the Knicks coach Jeff van Gundy said that Jordan sometimes tries to "con" his opponents by befriending them off the court only to punish them on it.. Jordan was mad when he saw it in the newspaper... So he "punished" them by torching 51 points (18-30 FG) - his second 50+ points of the season (50 points versus Heat in November)... On November 13, 1985, Jordan and the hot Bulls faced the San Antonio Spurs.. Prior to the game, Bulls set a 6-2 record with three wins in the last three games..
