(1984-1985 Season #2) 45 Pts vs. Spurs

On November 13, 1985, Jordan and the hot Bulls faced the San Antonio Spurs.. Prior to the game, Bulls set a 6-2 record with three wins in the last three games.. Jordan was their new star and he showed why he also was the leader.. In his 9th game as a rookie, Jordan scored 45 points to clinch a hard fought game 120-117.. It was Jordan's first 40+ game and could have scored more than 50 points if he didn't miss a few easy baskets.. But nonetheless it was clearly his first great game and a sign of greatness in years to come (and he did!).. Here you can see the famous highlight when he rebound the ball from his own half, dribbling the ball all the way before dunked the ball down! Awesome... Created and uploaded by hoopsencyclopedia...
