(All Star Weekend #14) 1988 Slam Dunk Contest (1 of 6)

This is part one of six of the full coverage of 1988 Slam Dunk Contest as part of the 38th All Star Weekend in Chicago.... In his third and final participation, Jordan again met his toughest rival, Dominique Wilikins... Beside Wilkins, there were Clyde Drexler, Otis Smith, Jerome Kersey, Greg Anderson and the tiny Spud Webb... In the first round, Jordan was behind Wilkins in the top two with total of 94 points (47 and 47)... But in the semifinal, Jordan was the best with 145 points (50-48-47) with Wilkins behind him... So, both of them, as in 1985, faced each other again in the final, but the result was different as Jordan defended his title by scoring 147 points (50, 47 and 50), two points more than Wilkins...
