This is part one of eight of the full coverage of 1985 Slam Dunk Contest as part of the 35th All Star Weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana - the home of the Indiana Pacers.... Jordan competed against a pack of ferocious dunkers at that time, like Dominique Wilkins, Julius Erving and Clyde Drexler.. There were also his teammate Orlando Woolridge, Larry Nence, Darrell Griffith and home favorite Terence Stansbury... Jordan passed the first round with point total of 130 (44-44-42) and then led the semifinal with 142 (45-47-50) for a final showdown against Dominique... It was a bit of anticlimax as Jordan only scored a total of 136 (43-44-49), allowing Dominique to capture the title with 147 points... Uploaded by NBAclassics... Enjoy!
